Joanne Collins Joanne Collins was called to the Ontario Bar in 2014 after articling with a prominent Criminal Law firm in Toronto. She went on to work within the litigation department of a boutique law firm in Toronto where she also founded and lead the Criminal Law department. Joanne started her own practice in 2016, which is dedicated exclusively to the practice of Criminal Law. Her practice is results driven and client focused.

Joanne is a member of the Criminal Lawyers Association and the Toronto Lawyers Association. She is also a member of Criminal, Gladue, Consent and Capacity Board and Ontario Review Board panels with Legal Aid Ontario. Prior to this she also worked as a caseworker in the Criminal Law division at the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic.

Joanne has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Guelph and a Master’s degree from the University of Ottawa. Joanne completed her Juris Doctor at the University of Ottawa with Cum Laude distinction.
